This is my first blog and i would enjoy to write down a few sentences about hostels. Hostels are a magnificent way to travel the world on a budget. From the cheapest to the more grand there is something to accommodate every preference and plan. The important thing about
hostels is that tons of college students flock to them since they are cheap and enjoyable so there is continuously lots of student travelers around to get-together with!
In most every other…

On a brisk October morning as I was driving to work, I came across this frozen field of beautiful ice crystals on this country field close to my home. In Western Colorado, some of the agriculture is irrigated with these giant irrigation wheels. The last couple of weeks of the season the night te…

I think this is my rebirth, for according to me rebirth is when one misses a lifetime of misery in the nick of time. This near miss can be a result of a number of factors, internal and external. But when we trusts God or some superpower and are in trouble (read “deep shit”) i firmly believe that the entire universe conspires to keep you safe and happy. I agree it’s better to follow your instincts, but sometimes one is blinded by short term happiness and fails to see the larger picture. And in th…

Most people think of volunteering as joining a group of people at a certain place and a certain time to perform actions that benefit others. These days, there seems to be alot more that you can do to help others from within your own home - even whilst still dressed in your own pyjamas!
This to me is a mindset change as I think people aren't even aware that you can help charities / worthy causes beyond your own doorstep. Almost everybody I know has no idea about these micro volunteer opportuniti…

I love the premise of Happy Posts. It is good to find a place where people want to concentrate on the good and the positive. It makes me want to think of good things to share with everyone.

Glenwood Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Swimming is such an awesome exercise as it works all parts of the body without impact and it has a…

May 2009 has been one crazy month with me 1st getting sick for a week and then having a horrible facial stitches and broken nose. It has been hard but my younger son and daughter came to my rescue when I needed them. Hubby was out of state. My face is healing and the nose is still sore but life is 'stop and smell the flowers' cuz if you don't they will pass you by. Hopefully, things will settle down and become 'normal' again. Many blessings to all those who need them at this time in their life.…
